TEN TOES LAUNCHES COMMUNITY RUGBY INSTAGRAM CHANNEL WITH ENGLAND RUGBY

Back in November 2025, we came together with England Rugby to launch a new Instagram channel: Community Rugby 🏉

Launched to help England Rugby connect with players, volunteers, clubs, coaches and beyond, the aim was to showcase what makes grassroots rugby so special, encouraging more people to join the community – whether on the pitch or supporting from the sidelines.

It’s been a brilliant start. The account has reached more than 11,000 followers in just over two months, showcasing a huge appetite for community content on Instagram.

But what’s been even more impressive are numbers that show we’re reaching new audiences and connecting with those starting to follow: more than 400,000 engagements, 7 million video views and a follower engagement rate of 300%.

From celebrating England’s oldest rugby player, to recognising parents playing community rugby alongside their children and marking the journey from grassroots to elite: the content is resonating.

Nabil Hassan, England Rugby’s Head of Content, said: “The community game is the heartbeat of rugby. It’s where every player begins their journey and is a vital part of our storytelling strategy. The new channel gives the game its own platform, helping us connect with all of those who make up the game on a deeper level.

“The response since launch has showcased real appetite for authentic, human stories that reflect the people who make the community game what it is.

“We’re really excited to see the channel continue to progress, not just helping to celebrate, inform, inspire and educate, but actively growing the community game as a result.”

Everyone at Ten Toes is looking forward to continuing to work alongside England Rugby to grow the channel and the community game in England.
