VERTICAL VIDEO PRODUCER

Ten Toes is searching for a Vertical Video Producer to join our content team and work closely with leading sports rightsholders. The successful applicant will lead the production of vertical video content for social media channels, with a particular focus on TikTok.

We want something who truly understands the platform’s landscape, what resonates with existing audiences for rightsholders but how they can unlock growth and visibility through new fans on the platform. You will work closely with our content management team to align on channel and content plans, with some expectation to deliver for other vertical video platforms and functions.

  • We’re looking for someone with a creative eye for identifying, producing and delivering video content that stands out from the crowd on social media. You’ll know how to hook the audience, encouraging the community to engage and share. 

    For this role, we’re looking for an individual who has excellent experience editing social-first video content, understands what makes an impact and recognises trends and opportunities that are right to jump on with relevance from a rightsholder perspective.

    The successful candidate will also be able to showcase how they have worked closely with internal or external stakeholders to align on content plans and how to execute them.

    It goes without saying, the successful applicant will need to be passionate, dedicated and sociable, with strong communication skills a must for this fast-paced, high-intensity position. Being proactive, confidence in selling in video ideas and attention to detail will also be crucial to succeed in this position.

  • Our Vertical Video Producer will lead on the ideation, capture, production and editing of vertical video content for social platforms, with a particular focus on TikTok. The candidate will work closely with our internal content managers and leading rightsholders to deliver best-in-class content, connecting with audiences and driving engagement. The role holder will also have an important role to play around content capture days and events.

    • Lead on the ideation, production and publication of vertical video content and concepts

    • Understand the trends and content that maximise growth and engagement on TikTok in particular

    • Collaborate and align with our internal content managers on content plans and schedules

    • Write creative briefs for media days, events and shoots, with clear content plans and deliverables

    • Advise the team on best practices for TikTok and other platforms from a video perspective

    • Build and share an always-on learnings and recommendations guide for vertical video content and the platforms

    • Attend access days and manage the capture of mobile content – from cultural trends to timeless pieces – as and when required

    • Collaborate with the wider internal team on identifying emerging trends and turning around content at pace to increase engagement across channels

    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and platform advancements in video output to enhance our content and ensure we stay ahead

    • Use and learn from platform analytics across video content to improve and develop output 

  • Essential: Demonstrable experience as a video editor/content producer in an agency or for a rightsholder in sport

    Essential: A sharp eye for detail across video content – from optimisation to subtitles

    Essential: Demonstrable experience capturing content on the ground at events

    Essential: Experience working with high-profile talent, brands and/or organisations

    Essential: Experience delivering best-in-class creative video content

    Essential: Experience of working in sport

    Essential: Experience working closely with and alongside content/social media managers

    Essential: Excellent knowledge of the social media platforms and their video requirements

    Essential: A proven track record of creating and publishing impactful video content

    Essential: Strong understanding of Adobe Premiere

    Essential: Strong communication skills

    Essential: Willingness to work weekends in line with the sporting calendar

    Essential: Strong levels of commercial understanding

    Essential: Experience of working in a team environment

    Essential: Experience of using analytics tools to assess video content performance

    Desirable: Knowledge of budgeting for production shoots and edits at various scales

    Desirable: Experience working with editing software such as Adobe Photoshop

    Desirable: Experience working with AI clipping tools

    Desirable: Some knowledge, and a desire to enhance existing know-how, regarding how AI can improve workflows, processes and delivery
