KICK IT OUT APPOINTS TEN TOES TO LEAD DIGITAL COMMS STRATEGY AHEAD OF NEW ERA FOR FOOTBALL EQUALITY

Kick It Out, football’s leading anti-discrimination charity, has appointed Ten Toes to provide strategic communications and content support as it launches its most ambitious programme of work to date.

The partnership will see Ten Toes lead a full audit of Kick It Out’s current digital communications – benchmarking performance, analysing audience behaviours, and identifying opportunities to expand reach and engagement across digital channels.

Building on these insights, Ten Toes will then develop and deliver a bold, multi-channel content and communications strategy to help Kick It Out launch its new five-year plan this September. This strategy will focus on key content objectives aligned to the overarching strategy, channel optimisation and distribution, content formats and channel roles.

The brief comes at a crucial time as Kick It Out looks to deepen its connection with fans, clubs and governing bodies, reach new and diverse audiences, and amplify its mission to drive inclusion and fight discrimination – both on and off the pitch.

Maddie Coutts, Business Growth Director at Ten Toes, said: “Kick It Out is one of the most important and respected organisations in football, and to be supporting their next chapter is a huge honour for everyone at Ten Toes.

“We’re big believers in the power of sport to drive social change. Whether it’s campaigning for online safety, amplifying their five-year vision, or reaching new communities, we’re proud to play a role in building a more inclusive game with Kick It Out – and excited to bring our strategic and creative expertise to the table.”

Samuel Okafor, CEO at Kick It Out, added:
“We’ve been tackling discrimination for over 30 years and, as we launch our new five-year strategy, we want to unite football to make it more welcoming and inclusive so that everyone can be inspired to reach their goals.

“We knew we needed a partner that understood the power of sport, the importance of purpose, and how to cut through a social media feed. That’s why we’re delighted to be working with Ten Toes.”
